About you (in real-life):
Name: Martin
Age: 51
Nationality: Swiss
Tell us a bit about yourself: 51 year old male, married to the love of my life, two kids (one grown up, the other on the very edge to adulthood). Making a living as a software engineer and spending my spare time on digital art, playing drums (badly), the piano and the guitar, and of course Lotro (yeah ... too many hobbies).
What is your previous LoTRO experience (including previous kinships)?
I have been playing Lotro on and off since the very first days of its release ... and yes, I am one of those lucky lifetime subscription guys.
Never really got too deeply involved in any guild and or raiding. Before Lotro (and other MMORPGs) I spent countless hours in Everquest in a raiding guild - which turned gaming into some sort of side-job resulting in my spending way too much time online and too little in the real world. Promised myself to never let that happen again
Why do you want to join The Elders?
Life in Lotro can be a little lonely without a guild and so I have been looking around for a kinship for a while. Life has told me that any group of humans stands and falls with a few core members, so I was patiently sitting and waiting to someone show up in world chat leaving a positive impression on me and then ask them if joining their kinship was possible. Ranatuor was that person - what they wrote kept striking a chord in me over the last few days and today I decided to ask them if I could join their kinship.
What do you plan to do with your time (e.g. raiding, levelling, questing)?
I am primarily looking for a group of people to be part of. The type of activity does not really matter all that much - I have never raided in Lotro and rarely grouped for quests either, but I am certain it can be a lot of fun with the right group
