Application for Llenethair

Post by Llenethair »

Name: Simon
Age: 35
Nationality: British
Tell us a bit about yourself: I'm a full-bore nerdy IT Guy with a passion for music, gaming, sci-fi and fantasy.

What is your previous LoTRO experience (including previous kinships)? I was briefly a member of the Aeon Knights a long while ago back when LOTRO was new and I got my lifetime membership. It feels like that was a lifetime ago and I have since forgotten almost everything about this wonderful game.
Why do you want to join The Elders? I struggle to game alone and I am looking for a like-minded kinship to socialise with and hopefully make some friends along the way.
What do you plan to do with your time (e.g. raiding, levelling, questing)? At the moment, mainly levelling and questing but I would be keen to explore the end-game content as and when I get there.

About your LOTRO character:

Name: Llenethair
Class: Minstrel
Level: 14 (as of writing this)
Trade skills: Scholar, Prospector, Jeweller (might change as I learn more).

Hi Simon,
Welcome to the Elders!
Our kin boss Cara should be along at some point soon here, in the meantime I'll keep an eye out for you ingame and get you in.
Thanks,
Tim (Rana)

Welcome to the kin. I'm absolutely no use in terms of game strategy or knowing what the hell is going on, but I do love a good chinwag.

Welcome Simon.
Sorry I didn't get chance to say hello properly last night when inviting you, I was in a fellowship.

Welcome Simon! I'm glad someone Eis has got you on board whilst I've been slacking in my duties. It's good to have you. I hope you'll be happy here.

Standard blurb: You'll be a Recruit for 21 days while we get to know each other and during that time you can only have your main in the kin (it's easier to get to know someone before they devolve into hundreds of different alts. :)) Once you're all settled, we do expect Members not to have characters in different kinships (we can't stalk you, so this is just on your honour!) There are a number of exceptions. It's absolutely fine to have your own personal kinship, as we know some people like to own kinhouses and so on. We're also ok with you having an alt in a kin for something we're not really able to provide - such as an RP or PvP kin - but please do talk to me or an Officer about it. You'll find us very understanding.
