Looking for friends of Ibsus
Hello, I'm David - as title states, I'm looking for friends and those who plays/have played with Ibsus, I'm his nephew. I'm sad to say that he won't be coming online anymore, even sadder that I won't be able to see or talk to him again as he has passed away. I understand that he's been a part of this community for a long time, and he had a few people he played with regularly - if you are one or know one of those people, please let me know, I would love to get in touch. Feel free to respond here or directly message me on the Discord username 'davidhimself'.

Thank you. Thank you for letting us know, even as I sit here crying. It would have been awful not to have found out though.
I can't take it in. We knew about his heart problems. He laughed it off last time we spoke about it - that he lived really close to Denmark's premier heart hospital.
I can't believe it. Everyone who knew him adored him. He was very special.

I just rejoined this nice community a few weeks ago after a 10 year break. And as always he was the one that tried to help me with my struggles to remember where and what i should focus on to enjoy my adventures in Lotro. But back in the days there where alot of funny memories during our adventures in Tolkien realm many late nights struggling with raiding bosses or just having a laught with tolkien crazy elders. Im as well as Cara in a bit chock since it was just a few days ago he wrote to me. So my best regards to you and you family. He will be lost as he touch many hearts with is cheerly spirit.

Like Cara I don't know what to say - I remeber playing with him back in 2008 and LOTRO was barely a year old back then.
Doing The Watcher raid and Dar NArbagud and others with him was always good fun!
I remember meetting him at the Milton Keynes kinmeet back in 2009 and chatting about Warcraft and Conan which we had both played before LOTRO and he had such a wicked sense of humour and always had a smile.
As has been mentioned he was ALWAYS so helpful to everyone, nothing was ever too much trouble for him to do to help a fellow kinnie...like teaching a silly ole sod like me not to be scared of delvings!
It's almost as if this is some weird nightmare and I'll see him tomorrow and he will say hey Valk wanna do a few delvings together....

My thoughts are with you and your family David.
He was part of the Elders, the finest people on LOTRO that I have known. So know he was loved and part of a lovely group of people.

Just heard the news today. I am shocked. Such a warm and kind person he was. I wish him well on his Further Adventures and all best wishes for his family.

Late they may be, but I would like to offer my condolences, love and best wishes. I am so sorry. Ibsus was a bundle of fun, a kind and helpful player who spread joy in the community. RIP.

Just come back to the game and this website and just seen this and I'm gutted.
This is really sad to read. He was a great guy. Always sounded like he was just about to laugh and always helpful. I hope he's leveling up in heaven and he's got us a kinship house ready.
